Also on espn.com, according to Adam Rittenberg, Bret Bielema knows about the site. And when asked about it here, this transpired:
Despite Wisconsin's losing streak, Bielema maintains a sense of humor, as he showed when asked about the new Web site, www.firebretbielema.com.
"Someone in my hometown finally got the Internet," Bielema said.
My first response was relief. He's not angry and so I guess I can stop locking my bedroom door. Upon further thought, I'll admit that I don't get the joke. Is he suggesting that his hometown doesn't support him, or that I'm from his hometown? Maybe the reporter who asked the question was from his hometown. That would make sense. If anyone actually knows or has a theory, please share.Adam Rittenberg is just reporting on the question, so he's clean, but what kind of reporter asks that question? What useful Badger football news is this question designed to collect. It doesn't matter what Bret thinks about the site because he has more important things to worry about. If Bret Bielema spends 1 second thinking about firebretbielema.com, it is 1 second too many. Asking him about the site is a lazy, gossipy question masquerading as sports journalism. Is the reporter hoping Bret gets angry? You're a professional journalist, ask a real question.

Bielema was referring to his mother with regard to the comment about someone from his hometown getting on the internet. He thinks it's his mother who set up the firebretbielema site because she is pissed that he is sullying the family name.
hahahaha hes so funny but seriously i hope Barry fires his ass.
I was eagerly anticipating the Bottom Ten this week after Wisconsin got their asses handed to them this weekend, hoping to see if Wisconsin could break through and join the ranks of North Texas and Utah State!
I love this stuff...especially when the Alumni Association sends me this stuff in the mail too: http://www.uwalumni.com/home/travel/867.aspx
I just wonder if the buffet will be enough to placate the expanding girth of Bielema....
You all loved Bielema when he beat Penn state and Arkansas in 06 and # 12 Michigan last year and # 21 Fresno State this year. now you wanna toss him to the curb. he can recruit and beat good teams you idiots just cant accept that it isnt gonna happen every game. every team has bad games and upsets. Barry had them to
And Michigan State was ranked # 23 in the usa today poll last year when Wisconsin beat them so thats another win over a ranked team
I can't say that I ever loved Bielema...I never heard of him until he became Wisconsin's defensive coordinator.
Everyone wants to say: "well Barry lost games too".... uh-huh. But Barry's coaching staff was known as the hardest working in the nation. The only think Bret works hard at is getting to the bar for another drink at the Dry Bean. Everything has been handed to him, and now nobody is allowed to criticize him? What did he ever do? Really. What are his credentials? The team is sinking and sinking fast. They can't recover from a bad week, and they can't recover during the game from a bad series. THAT IS COACHING!!!
Get over yourself gonads. This website's a joke and I can only picture the site creator looking like Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. Loser.
Beilema is from Prophetstown, Ill., a town of about 2,000 people in Northern Illinois. Ronald Reagan was born there. I'm guessing the reference is to the town being small and full of bumpkins who can't figure out the Web. Stay classy, Bielema!
